Daycation

We had planned to meet up with my parents in Bloomington the Wednesday of spring break, but on the Sunday before we made the spontaneous decision to get a hotel and spend the night. We were excited when Krissi and the kids decided to come, too.

We had dinner at the Pizza Ranch. It was a pizza buffet and it was kids' night. They were all mesmerized by the balloon "artist." She was actually quite impressive.

Alligator, penguin, pink puppy and butterfly. They were almost all popped or lost their shape by the next day, but they served their purpose that night.

We spent some time hanging out at the hotel that night and the next morning.

We took advantage of the indoor pool after dinner. For the record, the water was not very warm.

After breakfast at the hotel the next morning, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and played at a park until lunchtime.

The boys were doing something involving throwing pine cones into a hole in the tree. All four of the big kdis spent quite some time making a "nest" for a bird who might need it.

The Timmerman kids continue to love loving on their baby cousin.

Paige loved swinging!

And the slide.

We capped off the morning with lunch at Culver's. It was short and sweet and we can't wait to see them again next weekend!
