We celebrated Graham's birthday with family on Labor Day weekend. It was so nice to have everyone come to celebrate him. My parents were able to make it up, too, and it meant a lot to have them here. Graham was pretty happy most of the evening, and was hamming it up for everyone...
...until we brought out the smash cake.
I really don't know what his deal was. Let's be honest, he's the fourth kid and he's had his share of sugar.
We tried a little hand-over-hand to get him to try it.
He was not a fan. I think he's my first kid to cry like that with the smash cake.
Once he was cleaned up, he was back to his happy self and had fun opening gifts. Pretty sure this slide from Will and Jamie is going to get him walking.
Grandma Audie was also able to come to the party, as were Matt's cousin Kevin and Shannon and their son, Silas.

It was a fun evening and I was so happy we got to celebrate our happy little guy. One more time, Happy 1st Birthday, Graham!
