Apple Picking

We hadn't seen Amy and the kids in a couple of months and neither of us have kids in school on Tuesdays at the moment, so we decided to meet at Curtis Orchard in Champaign last Tuesday. It was about a two-hour drive each way for us, but my kids are pretty seasoned travelers at this point, so the drive wasn't a big deal.

The weather was actually really nice down there and Paige and Tye enjoyed being in the "big kid" stroller.

Before we picked apples, the kids played in their pretty elaborate play area.

And enjoyed feeding the goats, first with the $.25 food we bought, then with leaves off the ground.

After a lot of playing outside, we ordered lunch there and then picked apples, and I got pictures of neither of those activities due to the various levels of burnout that each of the kids was experiencing. Overall, it was a really fun trip, though, and it's always great to see Amy and the kids. Until next time!
