A couple of weeks ago, we had our first real snow of the season. The weather was pretty mild, and it was a Saturday, so it was a perfect day to play outside. Miles and Paige were especially fascinated with how different things looked covered in snow.
After throwing/dodging a few snowballs, Matt and the kids set about making "Chilly" the snowman.
Oz always loves to run around like a crazy dog when it snows.
Her hands automatically go on her hips when I tell her to smile these days.
It turns out Miles needs winter boots. Luckily the galoshes did the trick this time.
And Paige was sporting Miles' old snow pants and Brooke's hat (from last year - her head is comically large).
I think she's going to be our snow bunny. She gets hot very easily, so the snow was her happy place.
...and it was melted a few days later. A perfect first snowfall!
