A part of me was not looking forward to our trip, just because it was so long and I knew I'd miss the kids and was worried they'd miss us. Thankfully, everyone seemed pretty happy the whole time. We were able to talk or FaceTime with them almost everyday, which helped. And of course, Grandma and Papa T and Grammie Deb and Grandpa Brian kept them busy and entertained.
Miles legitimately likes hot tea, as does Grammie Deb, so that's the first thing he wanted to do with her when she got there.
They got to eat out a bit.
...and eat in.
Miles was worn out by the end of the week.
Brooke got to walk to school from Grammie Deb's house after a "special morning."
We missed two of Brooke's soccer games. Aunt Jamie and Uncle Will took Brooke and Miles to the first.
The second one was apparently on a chilly day.
She didn't want to wear a shirt under her uniform that day, so she went with her pink dress coat to start the game.
Fun day out with Grandpa!
Thanks again to our parents for giving so much of their time and energy to allow us to take the time away!
