I don't have any good pictures from trick or treating yesterday, largely due to the fact the the weather was rainy. Luckily, we've done a couple things in the community leading up to Halloween so the kids hopefully won't equate the day with wetness and discomfort. Miles was actually a pretty big fan of his costume until last night.
A couple of weeks ago, we went to the community center with Kali and Christy. It was practically like DisneyWorld. Miles enjoyed the "rides" (community vehicles the kids could try) and the girls got to meet all the Princesses. Much more affordable than a trip down to Florida, and we got to sleep in our own beds!
Seriously, though, it was a great event and the kids had a good time.
Then, last weekend, we went to downtown Wheaton with the Bordners. Zach was a Ninja Turtle. By this point, Miles was kind of getting the concept of trick or treating and wasn't happy unless he had candy in his hand. That's my boy!
Yesterday, we kept with our tradition of going around our block, then heading to Matt's parents and leaving Miles with them while we trick or treat their block with Brooke. Matt has the annual shot of all the neighborhood kids trick or treating together on his phone, so I'll post that later. Happy Halloween!
