Miles played park district soccer this fall. It was his first time playing organized, "competitive" sports and he's really taken to it. He was on a team with his buddies Tommy, Kellen and Caleb this year.
He's much more competitive than Brooke was (is) and genuinely looks forward to games and even practices. Unfortunately, with being more competitive comes keeping track of the score and taking losses harder. He also had a tendency to embellish how many goals he'd scored. Matt helped coach a couple of the games and Miles improved quite a bit by the end of the season.
Of course he always had lots of fans to cheer him on.
This girl and the helmets. Brooke had worn her roller blades to the game (and took them off almost immediately when she realized we were right about how impossible it would be to roller blade in the grass) and Paige wanted a turn wearing the equipment.
Aunt Jamie and Uncle Will were at a few games and were nice enough to take the girls to the playground while Miles played.
Great job, buddy! We're proud of how hard you worked!
